MUMBAI: A few months back, Mukta Arts had announced that it would get into the multiplex business under the name of Mukta Cinemas. Now it has launched its first multiplex, Mukta A2 Cinemas, in Baroda.

The 4-screen multiplex is equipped with Baroda‘s first ever 3-D digital screen and an exclusive Velvet Lounge with recliner seats.

Said Mukta Arts‘ head of distribution and exhibition business Tolu Bajaj, "We are proud to launch our chain of multiplexes. The first one has come up in Baroda. We will be launching our second multiplex in Ahmedabad around September and by the end of the year we have plans to launch two more multiplexes in Bhopal and Vishakapatnam."
