Release of Shakal Pe Mat Ja delayed

MUMBAI: The release of Linc Entertainment‘s Shakal Pe Mat Ja (SPMJ) has been pushed to a 23 September release. Initially, the producers were planning to release the film on 9 September.

The film has been entirely shot at the Delhi airport. But due to the recent terror attacks in Mumbai, the permission was withdrawn by the airport authorities. Resultantly, the filmmakers had to go through a heavy loss and the release has to be delayed.

SPMJ is a story of four young boys who get caught as suspects at the Delhi international airport, on the first anniversary of the British Subway attacks, while capturing a British Airways aircraft landing on their camera, which they claim to be a shot for a documentary that they are making. And from there begins the journey of what becomes the most unusual hold up ever resulting into crazy and humourous situations.

The film features Saurabh Shukla , Raghubir Yadav, Aamna Sharif, Umang Jain and four debutants.

Inspired by the ease with which bombs can be planted in Indian cities, the film is co-produced by Hrishitaa Bhatt and written and directed by Shubh.
