Amole Gupte to make film on senior citizens

MUMBAI: After directing Stanley Ka Dabba and writing the story for Taare Zameen Par, Amole Gupte is now working on his next venture.

Gupte, who is known for the films surrounding kids, this time, will delve into the subject of senior citizens. The film is about a grandfather, father and a grandson and how they react to each other when they are trapped in a situation.

Gupte said, "Basically, women absorb most of the pressure in a family but men are just caught in situations. The film tries to capture the men‘s attitude at the moment."

Gupte has signed Raj Zutshi, Divya Dutta and Aditya Lakhia, who were also part of Stanley Ka Dabba team, for the film, while The film will see Partho, who won the best actor award at the Schlinger Film Festival recently, will be seen in a cameo role.
