MUMBAI: Faruk Kabir, who won critical acclaim for his film Allah Ke Banday, has decided to start work on his next titled The Pathan.

Talking about the stars in the film, Kabir said, "We are in talks with two lead actors for two separate roles along with the leading lady. We would be finalising the same in due course." The director plans to finalise the principal cast shortly.

However, it is being rumoured the director has signed Sunny Deol and Vivek Oberoi to play pivotal roles in the film.

Kabir has jointly written the script of the film with Imran Rashid.
