MUMBAI: Producer Anil Mathew launched his upcoming Kannada venture Cowboy with the commencement of the shoot in Singapore and Malaysia.

Made under the banner Mary Matha Productions, the film is about the transformation of Vinay, nicknamed Cowboy, who is considered useless and good-for-nothing guy. This affects his personality and he shies away from people as he becomes self-concious.

However, something happens that changes the course of life for this shy and introvert young man. A series of events soon turns him into an extrovert.

The film stars Asif Ali in the lead.
