Cocktail nets Rs 359 mn at BO in first weekend

Cocktail

MUMBAI: Cocktail hit it off with the youth, especially at the elite multiplexes, with its contemporary approach to a love triangle. The film ended its opening weekend with Rs 359 million.

Bol Bachchan braved mixed reports to end its first week reasonably well with figures of Rs 615 million; the film registered a huge drop on the second Friday but did better on Saturday and Sunday which accounts for its ten day thrust having taken juice out of its potential.

Meanwhile, 3 Bachelors passed unnoticed.

Teri Meri Kahaani had a measly Rs 4 million to show for its third week.

Gangs Of Wasseypur collected Rs 18.5 million in its third week, taking its total tally to Rs 258.5 million.

Ferrari Ki Sawaari remained on the lower side, collecting Rs 8.5 million in its fourth week. The movie has collected Rs 276.5 million so far.

Rowdy Rathore collected about Rs 9.5 million in its sixth week, mopping up Rs 1.38 billion at the box office.
