MUMBAI: BookMyShow.com, India?s largest entertainment ticketing portal, witnessed record breaking opening weekend sales of more than Rs 560 million for Hollywood blockbuster The Dark Knight Rises. The film was released on 20 July.
Speaking on this joyous occasion, BookMyShow.com founder & CEO Mr. Ashish Hemrajani said, "Being the last sequel of the blockbuster, the excitement amongst the audience for the movie was thrilling from the first day onwards. The Dark Knight Rises was almost houseful on Friday and over the weekend too, we experienced the enthusiasm amongst the people."
