MUMBAI: UK broadcaster ITV has acquired TV production company So Television, the TV production that has made entertainment and comedy shows like ‘The Graham Norton Show‘ and ‘The Sarah Millican Television Programme‘.

ITV will pay at least ?10 million. A further ?7 million will be paid in 2016 if the firm, which makes more than ?1 million a year is profitable.

ITV Studios UK MD Denise O‘Donoghue said: ?So Television‘s programming presence on other channels is strategically terrific for ITV Studios, which has increased its output this year with new shows across the BBC, Channel 4 and Sky."
