MUMBAI: Kaushik Banerjee, vice president-English magazine and digital at Ananda Bazar Patrika (ABP), has resigned.

He has quit the company after a stint of five years and is planning to set up something of his own.

Banerjee told Indiantelevision.com, "Yes I have quit ABP to turn into (an) entrepreneur."

Banerjee had joined ABP in 2007 as SBU head of ABP and then later was moved to his present role in March this year. Prior to joining ABP, he had worked with Titan Industries, Duncans Industries, Murugappa group, Bombay Dyeing and Idea Cellular.
