MUMBAI: South Asian animation studio Toonz Animation India, which is a part of the international business conglomerate Comcraft Group, has appointed Los Angeles-based Lawless Entertainment as the worldwide representative for licensing and merchandising for its pre-school series Paddy?s Pages.

Developed by Toonz Animation, Paddy?s Pages has been conceived by senior designer K.P. Muraleedharan.

The series chronicles the adventures of six-year-old Paddy who is fond of reading. Paddy reads stories about animals and insects, the high seas and the hot deserts, scary adventures with flying dragons and silly tales of dancing monkeys and it is up to him to find endings for these stories. His pet hamster, Hammett, is his ally in all these adventures. Paddy?s Pages was an official selection to the Chicago International Children?s Film Festival 2007.

?Paddy?s Pages is a little boy?s imagination running wild; it is a delightful project that we are very proud of, and we are happy to associate with Lawless Entertainment on this property,? says Toonz Animation CEO P. Jayakumar.

Lawless Entertainment creates, co-produces, distributes and markets both animated and live-action programming throughout the world for both film and television.

?We are honored to work with Toonz Animation on this adorable property,? says Lawless Entertainment president Cathy Malatesta. ?Paddy?s Pages is sure to be a success worldwide.?
