Zee Media undertakes massive fund-raising exercise for Uttarakhand flood-victims

New Delhi, 20th June, 2013: Zee Media, as a responsible fourth estate of the democracy and true to its philosophy of ?Soch Badlo Desh Badlo? has stepped forward to help thousands of victims of the Uttarakhand cloud burst and subsequent flooding. These stranded victims are in-dire need of support and rehabilitation.

Keeping in view the current situation, Zee Media has taken an initiative to help in raising funds for these stranded pilgrims, tourists and citizens and is appealing to the nation to donate generously for helping Uttarakhand in this time of natural calamity through Prime Minister Relief Fund.

Zee Media has always been on the forefront of engaging its viewers in constructive nation building and in continuance towards the same it has started to create sensitivity and awareness among its viewers about the devastating flood and raise funds so that government can take adequate relief measures to combat this natural disaster.
