MUMBAI: The grass court season is always the shortest - this year only 27 days long - but often the most eventful. CNN?s Open Court looks back at the short season and speak to the Wimbledon Champions. Open Court‘s host Pat Cash plays on court with World Number Five and 2010 Roland Garros finalist Robin Soderling. Given the universal popularity of the recent football World Cup, they look at the possibility of a tennis equivalent and ask whether it could or would replace the old Davis Cup.

Open Court travels to Split, Croatia for the World Group quarter-finals tie between Croatia and Serbia. Open Court takes a look at tennis fashion and how it‘s evolved over the years both in terms of style and the big earnings it brings top players off the court. Open Court explores Russian beauty Maria Sharapova‘s multi-million pound sponsorship deal with Nike and Stella McCartney‘s Adidas clothes range.

Harper‘s Bazaar‘s Executive Fashion Editor Gaia Geddes puts tennis clothing into a wider fashion context and World Sport anchor Kate Giles takes us back 120 years as she tries on the old Ladies outfits for size. Pat also gets on court with Martina Hingis and Anna Kournikova, who have come out of retirement especially to play at Wimbledon.
