MUMBAI: For over a year now, Zee TV?s historical drama Jhansi Ki Rani has been immensely successful in bringing millions of viewers across the country the inspiring story of Rani Laxmibai, one of the most formidable freedom fighters India has seen. Having ruled the TRP roost consistently in its time band, the show has reached the most critical juncture where the Rani puts her foot down against British dominion and wages what went on to become the first war of Indian Independence. With the show entering its most exciting war phase with spectacular battle sequences coming up, the channel is leaving no stone unturned in ensuring that the show is widely watched and discussed.

Creating a notable buzz around the highpoint in the show, Zee TV has embarked on a unique marketing campaign bound to put a smile on women?s faces! As a celebration of the spirit of womanhood, the channel is offering women across Mumbai a slew of discounts, concessions and freebies as they go through the rigors of life each day of this week.

On Monday, January 24, women across Mumbai commuted within the city free of cost as Zee TV?s volunteers paid their ticket fare on all prominent bus and rail routes. Today, i.e. Tuesday, January 25, women can avail substantial discounts on treatments at prominent salons including The Enrich Salon outlets across the city. On January 26, women will enjoy free movies at a host of multiplexes such as PVR, Fame Adlabs, Fun Cinemas, Cinemax and BIG Cinemas. On Thursday, January 27, it?s time for women to shop as they get discounts on grocery purchases at Apna Bazaar and Sahakari Bhandar outlets. On Friday, January 28, women visiting Uncle?s Kitchen (Malad), Hotel Radha Krishna (Andheri & Ghatkopar), Maharaja Kamat (Chembur), Gopala?s (Kanjurmarg), Aditya (Bhandup), Hotel Navratna (Vashi) amongst other restaurants will be able to avail of a Rs. 250/- discount.

With Zee TV?s latest campaign for Jhansi Ki Rani going the extra mile to delight women, being a woman never felt so good!
