Satellite

LONDON: BT Broadcast Services (BT) has announced the signing of a new occasional-use agreement with PanAmSat, enabling its customers to use PanAmSats global fleet as a platform for major sporting event broadcasts.

The new multi-year deal means BTs customers will now be able to book occasional-use satellite services on PanAmSats high quality global network. This agreement provides BT customers with a turnkey solution for the delivery of breaking news and special events broadcasting around the globe.

Head of occasional services for BT Paul Claydon said, :"This agreement was a natural next step for us, We are already working with PanAmSat on a number of different fronts. By coupling our rich heritage and expertise with PanAmSats powerful modern fleet, our customers will have the best solution in the market. With sport being so important to viewers, we were keen to add extra capacity to our service offering in this area."
