Hathway launches high-speed broadband packs

MUMBAI: Hathway Cable and Datacom has launched two high-speed broadband plans.

The first plan is 2 Mbps quarterly prepaid plan. Subscribers have to pay Rs 1125 for three months of connectivity (effective Rs 375 per month). The plan comes with a download limit of 9 GB.

Meanwhile, the second plan offers 5 Mbps speed till 5 GB download. The advance postpaid plans is for Rs 599 per month. Under the plan, customers will be able to download at the speed of 64 kbps (post 5GB download). For this excess download, customer will be billed at 10 paise per MB.  
The plan is available in docsis areas of Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Bangalore and Vizag. This plan is not available in Delhi and Aurangabad markets as of now.
 
Hathway said that the new initiative will expose the residential Internet users to high-speed broadband experience at an affordable rate. This will also introduce mass subscribers into broadband, the company believes.
