Indian channels collect 12 nominations for Asian TV Awards

MUMBAI: Asia's premier awards programme for the broadcasting and production fraternity Asian TV Awards has released its list of nominees for the 2004 awards. Indian broadcasters have won 12 nominations under the categories Programming and Technical & Creative.

NDTV India has topped the list with four nominations. Star India's Channel [V] has won three nominations while rival MTV India has been nominated for two categories. SET India, Aaj Tak and Miditech (for the National Geographical Channel Asia) have collected one nomination each.
