MUMBAI: Cartoon Network is gearing up for the summer holidays and how! The kiddies channel promises a 'toonriffic' summer by premiering three new shows - Archies Weird Mysteries, Jumanji, Transformers Armada and a whole lot more, beginning May.

Apart from the three premiers, the channel's summer line-up also comprises brand-new episodes of already popular series like Mucha Lucha which airs on Saturdays at 2:30 pm, Jackie Chan Adventures on weekends at 4 pm, Justice League on weekends at 4:30 pm and Codename: Kids Next Door on Sundays at 7 pm.

On 1May at 5 pm, kids can join the gang of popular comic book characters, Archie and his pals - Betty, Veronica, Reggie and the eccentric Jughead as they do their best to unravel Archie's Weird Mysteries.

Next on the cards is the action-packed animated series, Jumanji which begins from 3 May and will be aired on weekdays at 6 pm. The series is based on the popular Robin Williams film by the same name and promises to entertain adventure-loving children with survival escapades, wacky fantasy, and kid-centric plot.

And that's not all, the hungama continues on Cartoon Networks Toonami block with the debut of Transformers Armada on 12 May at 5:30 pm. Transformers Armada promises to provide edge-of-the-seat excitement to kids.
