After ten days of release, the G-rated comedy has grossed a total of $80.8 milion ,and, is well on its way to $100 million. Given its strength, Chicken Little might find its way to the neighborhood of $170 million in the US alone. Disney says, that the film had to fight off compeition from the Clive Owen, Jennifer Aniston thriller Derailed as well as the critically acclaimed Gulf war drama Jarhead. Chicken Little releases in India on 23 December 2005. |
