MUMBAI: Lilliput, walked away with the Reid and Taylor Retail Excellence Award in the Kidswear category at the Asia Retail Congress 2008.The Award was presented by Major Brands COO Surjit Singh.
The Reid & Taylor Retailer is an award presented to an exclusive brand or multi-brand retailer of Fashion, Food, Beauty, Leisure, Entertainment and others with a single or more outlets showing outstanding performance with expansion within the boundaries of its operation in the previous year. The eminent jury conducted a detailed national survey which spread across the spectrum in the retail industry.
Lilliput Kidswear Ltd MD Sanjeev Narula said, "It is a moment of great pride and honour for us to have been judged as the Retailer of the Year by the most eminent jury. The other nominees in the ‘Retailer of the Year‘ (Kidswear) category were Giny & Jony, Zapp & Barbie. There were a total of 10 categories in the Reid & Taylor Awards like Retail Professional of the Year, Young Retail Professional of the Year, Excellence in Real Estate and others.
