MUMBAI:Teletoon Retro a cartoon channel offering classic cartoon characters like Bugs Bunny, The Flinstones, Scooby Doo and The Jetsons was launched in Canada.

Teletoon Retro was launched on channel 599 on ExpressVu Digital TV from Bell and channel 284 on Rogers Digital Cable. The channel will also have programs on Fat Albert, Tom and Jerry, Rocky and Bullwinkle and Superfriends targeted towards adults in the age group of 25 to 49. Founded in 1997, Teletoon Canada inc. is owned by Astral Media (50 per cent) and Corus Entertainment (50per cent). |
