Star Gold has risen to the Number one position on the back of its spectacular line of the new movies in the Diwali week.

Star Gold saw the recent line-up for Jabardast Janamdin, Film Festivals of SRK wherein it played all the favorite SRK tittles along with the Inner and Outer World Documentary of King Khan, Hulchul, Vaada. Some of the blockbusters that have been aired on Star Gold are Swades, Black, Hulchul, Vaada, Silsilay, Main Hoon Na and the expected line-ups are Elaan, Viruddh and Paheli.

The channel has changed its strategy in augmenting its library by aggressively acquiring rights for new releases. This strategy has paid off very well for the channel. It has secured complete denomination over the competition with movies Swades and Hulchul.
