MUMBAI: Channel [V], will introduce the five fainalist of the Nokia [V] Launch Pad at the Mumbai Festival on 15 January.

The bands would do the opening act along with the international performers, like Strings and Rabbi besides Tata Young and Raja of Husan.
 

The talent show, Launch Pad will provide a platform for Drop Violence (Mumbai), Zero (Mumbai), Helga's Funk Castle (Mumbai), Zephyr (Mumbai) and Them Clones (New Delhi) which are five of most talented bands in the country.

The panel of judges include singer Vishal, music director Shekhar and Channel [v]'s Luke Kenny.
 
Amongst the international performers, Pakistani band - Strings and 'Bulla ki jaana' fame - Rabbi. would also perform besides the South Asian signer Tata Young and the 'bhangra knight' - Raja of Husan.

The channel will air the auditions of Launch Pad including the elimination rounds in a unique 3 episode series.
