MUMBAI: Recruitment is no more a simple matter it seems.

After MTV made famous its hiring drive by tying in contests with the MTV VJ Hunt and followed it up with the Nickelodeon VJ Hunt, it's now Zee Music's turn to search for its veejays among the young and the talented. Not very originally, the venture is also titled the VJ Hunt.

The ad that is currently appearing on the official Zee website asks for talented youngsters with unaccented Hindi and a flair for chatter. Zee's veejays have to be Delhi-based, says the ad.

Zee Music, which has not been high on the popularity stakes among music channels, seems set for a makeover with ETC's Yogesh Radhakrishnan taking over the reins. It now remains to be seen if the programming too is set for a relaunch.
