MUMBAI: Film and television software production company K Sera Sera Productions has posted a net profit of Rs 3.01 million for the quarter ended 31 December 2004, as against Rs 0.67 million a year ago. Income from operations has jumped to Rs 189.8 million, from Rs 2.52 million in Q3-03.
For the nine month period ended 31 December 2004, the company's net profit stood at Rs 24.82 million against Rs 7.5 million in Q3-03. Total income was at Rs 333.6 million against Rs 106.5 million in Q3-03.
During the quarter under review, the company formed a 100 per cent subsidiary Twenty Twenty Television Limited for television content production.
The company has strategic partnership with Ram Gopal Varma Productions and has four films under production -- James, Sarkar, Darna Jaroori Hai and My Wife's. The company also has two serials on air on Sahara One - Aao Bahen Chugli Karen and Kuchh Love Kuchh Masti. Another of its serials, Kashish, is slated to be aired on Zee TV in March, according to an official release.
