MUMBAI: The latest addition to the expanding UTV team is Tanuj Garg, who has quit the Birla promoted Applause Entertainment to join the Ronnie Screwvala promoted company.

Garg, who joined UTV today, has been designated manager, motion pictures and will be working with UTV's films division headed by Ram Mirchandani. Garg, who returned to India last year armed with an MBA from the UK, was working with the project design and development cell at Applause, and worked closely with the non fiction shows turned out by Applause, during his eight month tenure with the company.

Screwvala, who affirmed Garg's joining the organisation, said the appointment was part of the expansion process at UTV, and that nearly 100 recruitments had been made in the last six months.
