MUMBAI: A first-of-it-kind platform in South India, Zee Telugu’s Comedy Awards is all about honouring the comic talent in the Telugu film and television industry. With the highest number of comedy actors, Zee Telugu for the first-time-ever creates a well-deserved platform to recognize their great flair.

The Comedy Awards brought together some of the most exceptional comic artists from across the Telugu film and television industry. The vivacious Mirchi Shwetha hosted the Red Carpet for the evening, that witnessed some of Tollywood’s dazzling stars including Rajendra Prasad, Brahmanandam, Naresh, Ali, Geethanjali, Rama Prabha, Kota Srinivas Rao, Thanikella Bharani, Sri Lakshmi, Vennela Kishore, Prudhvi, Sapthagiri, Srinivas Reddy, Rahul Ramakrishna and Vidhyullekha.

The Awards ceremony featured a line-up of sizzling performances by top artists from Tollywood including Ali, Poorna, Venu, Dhanraj, Vidyullekha and Payal Rajput, from RX 100. A timeline tribute performance by popular comedy actors like Getup Seenu, Racha Ravi, Chanti, Rakesh etc. along with a medley by Zee Telugu Kutumbam.
