MUMBAI: Following the disappointment of the first ODI being washed out, everyone will be geared up with anticipation for the second ODI which gets underway live and exclusively on Ten Sports on Thursday.
Pakistan, having won the recent Test series will be oozing confidence as will Mohammad Yousuf after breaking Sir Viv Richards long standing record for most runs in a calendar year.
The home team has had even more good news following the announcement that the bans on both Shoaib Akhtar and Mohammad Asif have been lifted with immediate effect.
The visitors will look to their recent good performances in the Champions Trophy to lift them after the Test defeats. In that tournament they gained victories over Australia, India and South Africa to get them to the final but then found the Aussies just too good for them.
But their build up to the ODI’s have been disrupted with the loss of both Ramnaresh Sarwan and Dwayne Bravo who are out of the series due to a broken foot and personal reasons respectively.
Weather permitting all the action will be live on Ten Sports starting at 11-30IST.
