The senior management team at Think Tank is constantly trying to develop unique and innovative initiatives to create huge buzz for the project as well as the corporate brands associated with them.

One of Think Tank?s signature property is Jatra which is a 500 year old concept of entertainment, in the rural areas of different states and is by far the biggest form of entertainment for rural population. Millions of people enjoy these shows spanning across 8 months in Bengal & Assam and almost 10 months in Orissa.

Think Tank works closely with the biggest producers in Bengal and has been instrumental in scaling up the popularity of this age old folk art form of entertainment. The country?s top most corporate brands were associated with Jatra under the Think Tank banner last year and it was a 360 degree promotion that helped both the Producers and the Brands to ride on this hugely popular and biggest platform in rural Bengal.

In order to take Jatra to new heights, Think Tank has helped the producer, Ratnadeep Opera, to sign up Raveena to perform for the entire season in Bengal this year. The name of the production is ?Rupsagarer Rupasi?. Raveena, who has been part of a few TV shows and also a couple of Bengali films, is excited about the proposition of able to perform Live in front of 10 to 12000 + audience per show. Ratnadeep Opera, the producer also feels that having Raveena in the lead would create huge excitement amongst Jatra viewers and would also bring back larger audiences to this centuries old form of entertainment.

The season of Jatra starts aroud September in Bengal and goes on for 7/8 months up till March or April next year. Each of the production does 45 to 50 shows and more thru these 7 / 8 months. With an average audience size of 8-10000 people in every show, each production is seen by a min of 5 to 6 lacs of people every season. The production requires a min of 70-75 people working day and night through the season when the Jatra shows keeps moving in different villages all over Bengal.

With an experienced and trained backend team, Think Tank ensures that the brands associated with Jatra in these states enjoy multiple touch points with their consumers. The activities of the brands are updated daily on the Website for the clients to keep track of the sponsorship. Last year, some of the biggest corporate companies of India were associated with Think Tank for Jatra namely, Lux from Hindustan Unilever, Vivel from ITC, Tata Shaktee, Everyday & Maggi Masala-ae-Magic from Nestle, Exide, Amul Macho, Super Vasmol from Hygienic Research Institute to name a few. These clients are extremely happy with their association and are looking at continuing with the platform with bigger associations this season.

With Rural India being the focus of all large companies, Jatra is undoubtedly one of the biggest and most cost efficient medium to reach out to millions in the rural areas.
