MUMBAI: This New Year, be a part of the thrill-seekers, backpackers & adventure enthusiasts as ET NOW‘s travel show - ‘Inside Luxury Travel‘ explores the un-spoilt beauty of the wonderful New Zealand - South Island.
The shores of Lake Wakatipu, Queenstown welcomes the anchor of the show, Varun Sharma, as he begins his journey from Eichardt‘s Private Hotel - an unusually small but perfectly formed boutique hotel, with just 5 suites. The hotel was renovated from an original 1860‘s 71-bedroom property and offers not only classic style but stunning views of Lake Wakatipu and snow-capped mountain ranges.
Varun then takes a short walk down the street and finds himself at a local contemporary art gallery with artists in residence and an insight into the up-coming "Uber Art". Moving forward, "Choppy" a famous New Zealand pilot takes ever so thrilled Varun up into the skies over breathtaking view of Queenstown.
Varun Sharma later joins Craig Palmer a local Golf Pro to try his hand at "Mile High Golf", where he has a few practice drives off a mountain before he plays the private ‘The Hills Golf Course‘. And finally towards the end of his journey, he heads off for an adrenaline pumping experience with a cold but exhilarating challenge - White Water River sledging on the rapids!
