MUMBAI: Zee TV?s latest offering Dil Se Diya Vachan will see yet another Dance India Dance contestant getting her big break in the small screen, after Binny Sharma (DID finalist) who plays the female lead in Zee TV?s primetime show ?Sanjog Se Bani Sangini?. Delhi based girl, Vandana Joshi, a contestant of Dance India Dance is slated to play the female lead in Dil Se Diya Vachan.
Dil Se Diya Vachan is a beautiful story about the relationship between a mother-in-law and daughter-in-law. Vandana will be playing the role of Nandini, the female protagonist of the show. She is a girl of few words and it takes her a while to open up to people. Sukesh Motwani, Programming Head- Fiction, Zee TV said, ?Nandini is not the usual protagonist and the character had to be played by someone who is mature, grounded, practical, sincere and very dedicated in real life. Vandana fits the bill very well as we have seen the above mentioned qualities in her during her stint at DID.?
Vandana was quoted saying, ?I Want to be a successful stage performer. If I am lucky, I will be an actress.? Well Vandana, lady luck is indeed smiling on you and your dream is fulfilled! Vandana says, ?Dance India Dance had changed my life and the offer to play the lead role in a serial is like a dream come true. My passions in life have always been dancing, performing on stage, traveling and learning new things. I am sure acting in a serial will fulfill all these passions. I have had the opportunity to showcase my dancing skills on stage and this time the actor in me will come alive.?
