  • Zzebra Sports bags public relations mandate for Rajasthan Royals

    MUMBAI: Jaipur IPL Cricket Pvt Ltd has appointed Zzebra Sports to manage all communication and public relations activities for its high profile IPL team, Rajasthan Royals, winner of the title in the inaugural season in 2008.

    Zzebra Sports, an integrated sports communication entity, will be responsible for developing the communication strategy for the Rajasthan Royals team and brand as well as managing all media relations, content development, media advocacy and on-site media management during the forthcoming Season V of IPL.

    MUMBAI: The Indian Wikimedia Chapter has chosen Text 100 (India) as the official PR partner for "WikiConference India 2011" to be held between November 18-20 in Mumbai. One of the key highlights of WikiConference India, being held for the first time in the country, will be the key note address by Wikipedia founder, tech-icon and open-source evangelist Jimmy Wales.

  • Big Productions' game show to be aired on 3 ETV channels

    MUMBAI: ETV Network and BIG Productions are launching a new game show- ‘Super Woman‘. The main sponsors for the show are Close-Up and Rexona is the associate sponsor.

    This show is an ode to the Indian housewife and showcases the manner in which she handles any challenge thrown at her.

    ETV Network claims that this homegrown format is a success on ETV Telugu and now it will be aired in Marathi, Telugu and Kannada. The Telugu edition called ‘Paripoorna Mahila‘ started on 16 October. ‘Super Woman‘ and ‘Paripoorna Mahile‘ went on air on 30 October on ETV Network‘s Marathi and Kannada channel respectively.

    In the show, contestants will be tested on various attributes such as Intelligence, Spontaneity, Articulation, Attire, Style, Poise, Body language, Confidence and Nativity and then selected. The contestants will participate in a series of 1 minute games which will reveal the superwoman inside her and the world will see the efforts they take to manage every task, from taking care of children to managing the household budget among many others.

    The Marathi show is hosted by actor Aniket Vishwasrao with Vidya Malvade, being its Brand Ambassador. Similarly the Telugu and Kannada shows will be hosted by TV anchors Shilpa Chakravarthy and Rachana Krishnamurthy respectively. The Brand Ambassadors for the same will be actors Bhoomika Chawala in Telugu and Neethu in Kannada.

    Marathi movie stars, Prashant Damle and Mrinal Kulkarni will be the judges in Marathi. Dr. Chandrawathi, AP‘s youngest MLA and a medical doctor to boot and Dr. Padmaja Reddy who holds a doctorate in Kuchipudi dance will be the judges in Telugu. Veteran actor will judge the show in Kannada Dr. Bharathi Vishnu Vardhan and the playback singer Chithra.
