    MUMBAI: Jennie Garth and Shannen Doherty the former stars of Beverly Hills, mark the much anticipated re-union in 90210 that premieres on Star World on December 6th, 2008 @ 8.00pm.

    Jennie Garth has re-joined the cast reprising her role as ?Kelly Taylor? from the original series. She, now a single mum working as a guidance counselor at West Beverly High School. Though she is not a regular on the new "90210," her casting brings the new show closer to the traditional formula of a spinoff, featuring a character from the original series.

    An excited Jennie said,? I am definitely excited to be back playing my character. I realized that so many people are devoted to the show and I am striving to give something back to the old audience.?

    Likewise Shannen Doherty will reprise her role of Brenda Walsh on 90210 returning to West Beverly Hills high school for a multi-episode arc. Doherty?s character was last seen on the original series leaving for London to study acting.

    In the new show, Walsh will be a successful theater director, who returns to the school as a guest musical theater director. Doherty joins Tori Spelling (returning as Donna Martin, now owner of an upscale boutique)
