    MUMBAI: Zee Caf? will telecast Miss World 2008 LIVE from Johannesburg, South Africa on Saturday, 13th December at 8:30 PM (IST). Zee Caf? has the exclusive telecast rights of the property, making it the ONLY television channel to telecast Miss World ‘08 in India. This year, catch stunning beauties representing 108 countries across the world vie for the much-coveted Miss World 2008 crown.

    Miss World is the original and most popular beauty pageant in the world, launched in 1951. Each year young women from every country compete in front of over a billion television viewers.     MUMBAI: Recession hits Sanjivani! Suffering the economic down turn, the doctors of Sanjivani face a huge crisis. At this critical point Dr. Abhimanyu Modi from the Sanjivani‘s management is sent to show one intern his way out. But as the anticipation becomes inexorable, Dr Kirti‘s exit from Sanjivani leaves every one in shock. Abhimanyu encounters a whiff of dislike by others as his action is not taken well with the interns. Adding fuel to their injury Abhimanyu‘s decision to take out non paying patients, gives another jolt to the interns.

    Putting them in a tricky situation Abhimanyu throws a challenge of a basketball match to Armaan and his team making it clear that if they loose, they will not intervene in his decision to take out the patients.

    Interns will have to try and leave no stone unturned to spell victory. But little do they know he is a hard nut to crack!! Abhimanyu tries all tactics to split the interns.   • Rediff launches 'Web-in-mail' for people with restricted net access

    MUMBAI: Online portal Rediff.com has launched the ?Web-in-mail? service, wherein users can access the internet

    using email clients like MS Outlook, Outlook Express and Thunderbird.

    According to Rediff, the ?web-in-mail? service can be achieved in two steps:

    • Sending an email to browse@webinmail.com with the URL (internet address) of the webpage which the user wants to access in the subject line.
    • A prompt reply is received with the webpage in the user?s inbox. Clicking a hyperlink within the webpage received, automatically composes another mail. On sending this mail, another reply mail is received with a new webpage.

    Rediff.com CTO Venki Nishtala says, ?Web-in-mail will let people, with restricted internet access, to now access internet content."

    This service, in its beta version, aims to help users to search the internet wherein users need to send their search query in the subject line and the result mail will be received via email.

    : Everyone involved with Live Earth India, from our U.S.- and India-based staff, artists and crew to our India-based broadcast, production, non-profit and marketing communications partners, is stunned and saddened by the tragic events of the past few days in our host city Mumbai. We always felt very welcomed and safe as we spent more time on the ground in Mumbai to finalize plans for Live Earth India, scheduled for December 7.

    Due to circumstances far beyond our control, we are saddened to announce that Live Earth India has been cancelled. We will continue to work for solutions to the climate crisis for the good of the people of India and around the world.
