• CBBC dominates at Bafta Kids Awards

    MUMBAI: CBBC won a Bafta Award for children?s channel of the year at the Bafta Awards for kids programming in the UK. The other nominees in that category were CiTV and Cyw.

    CBBC also won awards for best comedy, drama, entertainment and factual show - ?Horrible Histories?, ?Roy?, ?Friday Donwload? and ?My Life: Me, My Dad and His Kidney?. The award for best animation show went to Cartoon Network UK?s ?The Amazing World Of Gumball?.

    Justin Fletcher was voted best presenter for ?Something Special? on CBeebies. The award for best international show went to Nickelodeon?s ?SpongeBob SquarePants?. The award for best film went to ?The Hunger Games?. Skylanders Spyro?s Adventure was adjudged the best video game.
