MUMBAI: Multiplex chain operator Cinemax has launched its first multiplex in Bangalore.

The brand that operates 35 properties and 117 screens is now making a place in South India after Hyderabad and Cochin. 

The property was inaugurated by Subhash Ghai and debutant stars of Love Express along with Cinemax India president business development Sanjay Dalia.

Said Cinemax India CEO Sunil Punjabi, "We are very proud to have entered Asia‘s Silicon Valley, Bangalore. This is our third property in the South and will reinforce our presence in the region."

The multiplex, located in an area surrounded by corporate parks and cosmopolitan residence, has four screens with a total seating capacity of 775 recliner seats, a gourmet menu, café service and well-equipped art, light and sound system. There is also a computerised system for tickets.
