Raining flops in Bollywood

MUMBAI: It rained films at the cinema halls last Friday but the box office remained almost dry. Of the five film releases, only Bin Bulaye Baraati and Bheja Fry 2 have had some collections to show. The other three - Always Kabhi Kabhi, Cycle Kick and Bhindi Bazaar Inc - had nothing much to speak about.

Bheja Fry has managed to collect about Rs 71 million during its first weekend.

Bin Bulaye Baraati has done better at single screens, but collections at multiplexes are on the lower side. Its first weekend figures are Rs 71.5 million.

Shaitan has not found favour with youth on whom it counted for patronage. The movie collected Rs 51 million in its first week.

West Is West is poor, netting just Rs 5.5 million in its first week.

Ready continued its glorious run by collecting Rs 354 million in second week, taking its two-week tally to Rs 1.05 billion.

Pyaar Ka Punchnama collects Rs 8 million in its fourth week, taking its total to Rs 105 million.
