Ram Gopal Varma plans film on Osama with horror angle

MUMBAI: Ram Gopal Varma is one of our filmmakers who picks up real life stories and churns it into films that he feels would attract maximum eyeballs.

Not has the picturisation of his film on the Neeraj Grover case died down, Varma has evinced interest in making a film on Osama bin Laden, albeit with a horror angle.

Talking of how the idea germinated, Varma has reportedly said that the plot idea of Al-Qaeda part 2 is that Osama Bin Laden‘s ghost rises from the ocean to come and haunt the White House.

“After terrifying the US for such a long time, I just hope that Osama won‘t rise from the ocean and come back as a ghost... to horrify the US," the filmmaker jocularly remarked.

Varma’s film on the Neeraj Grover case, titled A Love Story, is based on the story of aspiring model and actor Maria Susairaj who is facing trial in the murder case.
