MUMBAI: Prabhakar Shukla, who has to his credit a small-budget film titled Kahani Gudiya Ki, is mulling with the idea of making a film on celebrated painter MF Husain.

Shukla, who was toying with the idea to make the biopic titled Husain - The Painter, was to discuss with Husain in detail but his dream fell flat as the latter passed away last Thursday.

Undaunted, Shukla has decided to go ahead with the project and is contemplating to cast Amitabh Bachchan for the title role. He has also put in a word with a big-time producer to back his film.

Meanwhile, devastated by his father‘s death, Owais Husain is now contemplating a biopic on his father‘s colourful 96-year-old life. Owais had assisted his father while the latter was directing the Madhuri Dixit-starrer Gaja Gamini and largely directed his father’s next feature film Meenaxi with Tabu in the lead.
