MUMBAI: Once again MTV, the leading multimedia youth brand today in India, has surpassed all other channels by bagging maximum medals at the recent Promax Asia awards in Singapore. The Promax-BDA Awards recognize excellence in on-air promotions and advertising, where MTV India picked up 6 medals - 4 gold & 2 silver, under various categories.

Comments Ashish Patil, GM MTV India and Sr. VP Creative and Content, ?Being a leader in the category, these awards are a testimony to the excellent work and a great team we have at MTV. Once again, the MTV On-Air Programming (OAP) team has outdone itself as well as our competitors by bagging the maximum number of awards by any single Indian channel this year.?

The awards won by MTV include 4 gold?s for the best comedy campaign for the ?Fully Faltoo Film Festival?, best sound design for ?The Christmas Jingle? along with the best public service announcement and the funniest spot for the ?MTV AIDS Cock film? and 2 Silvers for the best print campaign for ?MTV Mentos Smart Alec? and the Best reality Promo for ?MTV Hero Honda Roadies 6.0?.
