MUMBAI: It?s been a little more than a year since Chicks on Flicks was launched on PIX .Taking a step ahead, the channel now launches an online medium of reviewing the 100 greatest American Movies of all time. Neha Sareen and Ira Dubey, launch their new blog on cof.pixtelevision.com where 100 films will be reviewed in exactly 52 weeks starting Feb 5th 2010. With a very demanding and challenging timeline, each week 2 movies will get reviewed by the girls.
This very interactive form of reviewing movies also encourages readers from all across the globe, to agree / differ from the girl?s reviews. Readers are free to comment and share their reviews about the movies. Intelligent and deep analysis of the movies and critical reviews will be encouraged on the blog. A few of the movies that will be soon reviewed on the blog are ? Gone with the wind, Casablaca, The God Father, Raging Bull, Ben-Hur, Schindler?s List etc. The 100 movies are a part of the AFI List.
The popular movie reviewers Neha and Ira on PIX shared ?If there can be a Julie and Julia, why can?t there be a Neha and Ira!!! After much brainstorming, Ira and me decided that we need to go digital and take the reviews online apart from television! We have set a real challenge for ourselves with an equally demanding time line to review them! We look forward to reading and sharing reviews from our viewers!?
