GlobeCast’s 'Digital Ecosystem' gathers steam in Asia

MUMBAI: GlobeCast’s project known as the Digital Ecosystem is moving ahead in Asia.

Fueled by its recent acquisition of an additional HD playout centre and the integration of a creative services team in Singapore, along with new collaborative agreements with post-production partners and media companies, the GlobeCast Digital Ecosystem offers broadcasters a collaborative workflow for content localisation, saving them time and money.

GlobeCast is working with the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA) to showcase the project at IDA’s booth at the Asia Television Forum next week. The showcase includes ecosystem partners FashionOne HD, Kix, Thrill, MGM and NBC Universal among other actors in the media value chain.

This digital ecosystem hub expands to include broadcasters and production partners regionally and globally to provide a framework for collaboration and help content owners monetise opportunities in new markets.

The company says that broadcasters and content owners can now turn to it for a range of post production work and end-to-end regionalisation service, from content localisation, to SD/HD playout, satellite broadcast, content distribution and repurposing on multiple platforms, under the management of the global GlobeCast Mam system.
