On 8 February 2023, the deputy chief minister of Maharashtra, Devendra Fadnavis, launched the channel at a grand event in Mumbai.
"Media should be fair and take sides of both the government and the opposition," he said in his speech. They must show the mistakes of the ruling party as well".
Various political leaders from various parties such as the BJP, Congress, Shivesena and NCP attended the launch. Pankaja Munde, Radheyshayam Mopalwar, Ashok Chavan, Chhagan Bhujbal, Jitendra Awhad, and Dhiraj Deshmukh were among the dignitaries who attended the event.
The grand event was culminated by Maharashtra chief minister Eknath Shinde. "He congratulated the channel on adding a new regional channel to its bouquet," he said at the event. He went on to say that he expects the channel to show objective news and that he will cover the story after thoroughly researching it. He also stated that the channel should highlight the government's commendable work.
