  • Music of Peepli [Live] goes live on 92.7 BIG FM

    MUMBAI: Peepli [Live] the most awaited movie from the stable of Bollywood perfectionist Aamir Khan launched its music exclusively on India?s largest radio station, 92.7 BIG FM the radio arm of Reliance Broadcast Network Limited (earlier known as Reliance Media World Limited). The music launch event took place at Blue Frog, the coolest pub of the city with the event being opened by 92.7 BIG FM RJ Rani. The entire event was covered live on-air for all the Mumbaikars who could not witness this exquisite show.

    Earlier during the day of the Music Launch, Aamir Khan spent an entire morning at 92.7 BIG FM studio, warming the listeners with excitement even while the whole of Mumbai soaked in heavy downpour. He captivated the listeners all day with his trademark style and enthralled them with his gags and one-liners. The dynamic actor in a t?te-?-t?te with RJ Vrajesh promoted the music of his latest movie Peepli [Live] and gave listeners a peek into behind-the-scenes trivia of the film. Peepli [Live] is a satirical movie on the farmer?s suicide and its music is contributed by India?s most famous Indo-rock fusion band Indian Ocean.

    The terrific actor enchanted the listeners showcasing his wit, promptness and ability to entertain them as he spoke about the music of his latest movie and shared his experiences on making of the movie.

    MUMBAI: "Sat Barachya Batmya" aired on STAR Majha, is an agricultural based program which focuses on the farmer‘s interest and guides them with better method of farming. The program was started 3 years back on 22nd June 2007 with the cause of promoting agricultural development in Maharashtra region. Within 3 years, the program has been honored with four state recognitions. The latest being "Krishi Patrakarita" from Vasantrao Naik agriculture research & rural development foundation of Mumbai. It was given at the hands of Minister for Food and Public Distribution Mr.Anil Deshmukh on Maharashtra Krishi Din/Agri Day on 1 July 2010. The earlier awards bestowed being State Govt‘s "Sheti Mitra"- 2008, PUSAD Vasantrao Naik pratishthan‘s "Krishi Vahini" -2009, "Krishi Rakshak" - 2009.

    Agricultural has always been predominant occupation for India, and these awards signify a trend which gives credit to agricultural journalism which has been due since the time of Krishi Ratna (Doordarshan).
