Hrithik to co-direct Krrish sequel
MUMBAI: Hrithik Roshan will not only be the lead actor of Krrish‘s sequal, but he will also co-direct the film.
MUMBAI: Big CBS Networks has announced a new local show for Big CBS Love which targets women.
?India?s Glam Diva? follows on the heels of ?India?s Sexiest Bachelor?. Ladies from the entertainment industry of India will be judged together by a jury and the public, to select their favourite Diva. The show is scheduled to hit the screens by next month.
The platform aims to bring the most ravishing, talented and deserving divas to the fore. Women from India will compete for India?s final choice of the most glamorous Diva. Backed by the expert jury and programming team and coupled with audience feedback from across the country, the first phase will see a shortlist of the top 14 contenders for the title.
Women competing for the title are Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra, Vidya Balan, Aishwariya Rai Bachchan, Katrina Kaif, Sonam Kapoor, Sunidhi Chauhan, Bipasha Basu, Ekta Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha, Sania Mirza, Freida Pinto and Shruti Hassan.
The show has been divided into segments. The first segment will give viewers a peek into the minds of Divas. The Divas will be judged on the basis of their X factor, their public appearances, the brands they handle and their business sense, judging their minds. Second segment will include the attributes that make them so hot. Is it her eyes, is it her lips, her complexion, her skin, her attire, her sex appeal or is it the combination of all?... essentially evaluating the body.
The third segment - after Mind and Body, will be Soul. It will be an electrifying combination of these factors that make for a winner.
India?s Glam Diva will be hosted by VJ and actor Neil Bhoopalam.
"After a successful season of ?India?s Sexiest Bachelor?, we are glad to announce our second property India?s Glam Diva. The show will have the most gorgeous women from the entertainment industry on one platform. These women will be judged on various factors by the viewers. The show will bring to the fore an unusual side of these women that was never known to their fans," the channel said in a statement.
The voting mechanism will include SMS, a microsite and other social media vehicles like Facebook and Twitter.
MUMBAI: In a bid to expand its footprint on-ground after its TV launch, UTV Stars has partnered with People Magazine for ?The Best Dressed Show 2011?.
The on-ground event will see an exclusive fashion show by designer Manish Malhotra. Walking the ramp as the showstopper will be Priyanka Chopra, who will also feature on the cover of the annual issue of People magazine, featuring the Best Dressed People of the year.
UTV Stars said that this association marks the beginning of a long term partnership with People for more such on ground initiatives.
The event is sponsored by Mercedes-Benz, World Gold Council, Teachers Origin, Schwarzkopf, Vero Moda and Jack&Jones.
UTV Stars, the Bollywood channel, will also show a special feature
based on the on-ground event.

Gandhi claims that UTV Stars, in its first month itself, has got rave reviews and good response from the viewers as well as the advertisers. "In four week itself, we have got over 50 per cent of our inventory sold," Gandhi added.
The channel now plans to extend its 360 degree presence with associations and on ground properties. The brand has already initiated advertiser funded properties and it will provide advertisers with customised solutions and ommunication packages on air, on ground, on mobile, web, and digital.
