MUMBAI: Filmmaker Steven Spielberg's next production which is based on a psychological thriller novel by the British author Paula Hawkins The Girl On The Train will hit theatres in India on 7 October.

Directed by Tate Taylor, The Girl On The Train is co-produced by DreamWorks Pictures and Reliance Entertainment. The movie stars Golden Globe winner Emily Blunt, Rebecca Ferguson, Haley Bennett and Justin Theroux.

The film revolves around a divorced lady named, who takes the train to work every day and spends her commute fantasising about a young couple living down the street. One morning, she sees something shocking and finds herself entangled in a mystery that promises to forever alter the lives of everyone involved, read a statement from Reliance Entertainment.
