Our aim is to make the STAR Network THE platform for all our clients‘ promotional activities."

Prakash Bagri, Director, Marketing, Intel South Asia adds "Star Network is popularly known as "Parivaar" (Family). The actors from the Star Parivaar have created waves in every household and directly connect with the audiences watching them. We saw an intrinsic fit of the recent launch of our all New 2010 Core Processor Family which consists of smarter and faster processors being celebrated by Star Parivaar. • Lalit Modis exclusive interview with TIMES NOW

Submitted by ITV Production on May 08, 2010

MUMBAI: Lalit Modi finally breaks his silence and speaks exclusively to TIMES NOW after being suspended as IPL chief. Catch his interview all day and on the weekend only on TIMES NOW.

Q1. Allegations against you by the BCCI and the ECB that you have been upto something that is not good for Indian cricket and world cricket ?

    A. Well, the truth will come out, we will all know what the truth

is. In these matters i rather not talk and rather let the truth come out and we will know who had batted for Indian cricket and from when.

Its not something new, you know i am the one whose battled for INDIAN cricket and for a long-long time and that is all in public domain.

Nobody knows that better than the media themselves.

Q2. Obviously we know about ICL, when ICL was there you probably played a very crucial role. you went up to the ICC to sort of regulate and get the screws right in place. Whats the latest? did the meeting happen with the ECB officials or they are just speculations?

    A. what is in the show got notice, its not speculations, its fiction.

Anyway, thats a matter of detail. We will get into that.

Q3. Your reaction, are you probably looking into becoming a part of the petition Mr.A.c muthaiya has filed or anything like that?

    A. Mr muthaiya (his petition) is a matter of sub-judice now,i have just asked for the files just want to look into it and see what it is all abouti know it is a little bit more than what meets the eye, but it is sub-judice and will take it one day at a time.

Q4. and what about there were also reports of Arabic cricket league coming up and there were some meetings that is something you have stopped the american premier league there were talks about. so can u give us some inside into exactly what has has happened with the ecb story coming out?

    A. i think on the ecb, i dont want to comment about because the matter has been already ,many emails have been leaked out in the last

24 hours and before even i got the notice on this regard. but coming back to unauthorized cricket i have been advocate of unauthorised cricket from day one, I have championed the cause of unauthorised cricket on behalf of BCCI and at the ICC for a long period of time and everybody knows that i was actually involved in putting this whole programme together. Many people had tried, but we have gone, why they shouldn‘t do it and shown why it is good for the establishment, I have been the custodian of trying to protect the interests of Indian cricket board and i will continue to do that. Nobody should try and take that on. People are trying to malign, put words(into my mouth), trying to peg something on me, across countires, but these are small issues. People who are doing this, dont know what they are doing.

    Q. There is a denial now from the nine English counties, saying it was an informal meet in delhi before the delhi ipl games...

    A. These are type of things that you cant hide. the truth will always prevail. If somebody jumps the gun and does something, well..i cant do anything about that.

    Q. When do we see you replying to the first BCCI notice?

    A. On Monday i will have the first reply out.
